Lefse

Erin came over to make lefse with Dad on Sunday.

I helped mix a batch before my nap...

And then while I was sleeping, they rolled them out and cooked them so that when I woke up from my nap...

Sample time!

p.s. Erin took more pictures of me helping so we'll share those in a future post (we don't have them yet!).

Basketball with Dad

Mom was out with the ladies on Saturday night, so Dad and I walked over to Regis to watch the women's basketball game.

I was excited to have dinner at the game. But once I opened up the container, I was not impressed...

And during the second half I got a little bored, but Dad was prepared!

Shiner

I came home from school on Friday with a little something special on my face. I slipped while playing outside and my face met the concrete sidewalk. Don't worry, the sidewalk is ok.

Here's the picture from Friday:

Basketball season

We went up to Boulder last Friday for the first Buffs' game of the season. I had a really fun time, but was a little scared of the horn that sounds every time there's a player substitution (which is a lot). So we created a fun game where we now give high fives or fist bumps every time the horn sounds!

 Checking out the lineup card.

Belated birthday present

As a belated birthday present, Mom and Dad flipped my car seat to face forward last weekend. I was stunned at first, but quickly realized it is awesome!

Family trip

It's cold and snowy here this week, but on Sunday it was 65 and sunny. Perfect day for a family trip to the zoo!

Here's the view Mr. Rhino had looking back at me.

Family visit

Cousin Alexis came to visit from New Jersey this past weekend and we had a great time! Although our nap times didn't really match up so we also both became good at playing quietly while the other one was sleeping.

Dad and Uncle Chris are looking forward to the day when we can just head out in the yard to play on our own (and they can relax on the porch).

Thinking about making a break for it!

The whole gang (minus Mom who was taking the picture).

Birthday

Catching up on photos from last week. My birthday evening was filled with presents and my favorite kind of cake, Angel Food!

 Practicing my surprised face.

Of course I had to play with each new toy before going on to the next present.

Mom demonstrated how much fun it was to wear a birthday headband, but I wanted nothing to do with it.

Who needs a fork!?
