Monthly updates:

I continue to love my pre-K class at Centennial. Now that I'm five, I'll get to participate in the after-school program. That starts tomorrow! Tuesday is Halloween, so we'll have a small party at school along with an entire school costume parade. John doesn't get to dress up at Family Star, but they may do something Halloween or pumpkin-related like in past years.

It's time to announce that the little brother is officially toilet trained! He's getting really good at listening to his body and we only use diapers at bed time now.

Gymnastics and swim lessons continued this month. I have made huge leaps in my ability to dunk my head on my own. John dunks his head, too, but it's always while in Dad's arms.

Grandma Linda is staying with us for a few more days, but her work term is officially over. She has been a huge help with tons of kid and house-related things. Of course Grandma Lila things that Linda should stay for even longer!

No one was in the mood for questions this morning, so here's the best we could do:

Tess:

1. Do you feel older? If so, how? Yes, I feel older. Followed by a shoulder shrug.

4. Favorite enrichment subject at school (art, science, music, Spanish, library, or gym): Spanish

5. Where's your favorite place to walk Keillor: To the gym on campus

And at this point I just stopped listening and responding to Dad so we'll leave it at that!

John insisted on heading over to the golf course with Dad again last weekend.
