5 years, 8 months & 3 years, 5 months

We missed our regular monthly posting yesterday since we were still in New Jersey without computer access. We arrived home late this evening (Saturday) and thought we'd at least leave you with one quick post.

We've been in New Jersey for the past 8 days and are now home for one day. On Monday we leave on a road trip to Montana! We have many pictures from New Jersey to share, but not quite sure when we'll get them posted.

1. What was your favorite type of firework at the big show in Hasbrouck Heights on Thursday? Blue!
2. What was your favorite activity in New Jersey? Train and the zoo (train was at Van Saun Park and the zoo was the Bronx Zoo)
3. What was your favorite airplane activity? iPad
4. Favorite New Jersey food: Apples
5. What are you looking forward to doing in Montana? [At this point he closed his eyes and pretended to fall asleep in the car seat]

Tess: 
1. What was your favorite type of firework at the big show in Hasbrouck Heights on Thursday? Blue and gold mixed. And the pink and gold mixed together.
2. What was your favorite activity in New Jersey? Beach and the pool (beaches were Belmar and Point Pleasant and there were pools at Judey's and Leon's houses)
3. What was your favorite airplane activity? Coloring
4. Favorite New Jersey food: Treats from Grandpa [not sure what this means!]
5. What are you looking forward to doing in Montana? Seeing horses and puzzles with Grandma

Wheat Ridge Crit

For the fifth year in a row, we went over to check out the Wheat Ridge Criterium bike races on Sunday. Next year we've decided that we will ride our bikes to watch the bikes! (instead of driving the two miles)

Safety Expo

Regis University hosted a huge Safety Expo last weekend featuring fire trucks, police cars, snow plows, helicopters, and a whole lot of other amazing things. John sat in so many trucks that Dad stopped taking pictures after a few!
