Monthly picture time!

Happy.

Sad.

 Goofy.

The questions that we asked Dad to ask us:

John:
1. Who are your friends? Alejo, Elijah, Isabella, hmmmm...Aubrey, aaaaannnnd Elijah!
2. Favorite color: Pink.
3. If you could have a super power: To fly [and then posed like Superman]
4. What meal that Dad serves makes you happy? Mac and cheese (for the record, Denise usually makes that one)
5. Favorite dessert: Lucky Charms!
6. What's your favorite thing about fall time? Colors. And they fall down and turn brown and you don't eat them. Just joking, you can only eat food, not leaves.

Tess:
1. Who are your friends?  Ollie, Gael, Layla who's in my class, she's a first grader, uhhh...that's it. Wait! And Maddie and Abbey.
2. Favorite color: Pink, blue, purple.
3. If you could have a super power: My super power is Wonder Woman.
4. What meal that Dad serves makes you happy? Mac and cheese
5. Favorite dessert: All of them!
6. Favorite thing about fall time: When the leaves are changing colors and my birthday and Halloween.

Dog and boy

Not much blog content this week (again!), but here's one from a hike this past weekend. Dad was on the other side of the stream and captured the moment John decided to start walking in with Keillor (shoes still on).

Birds

Dad and John are into birds. Steamboat Springs was hosting a Crane Festival last weekend while we were in town, so the fellas took advantage of it.

Waiting for the Birds of Prey presentation to start on Sunday afternoon. They saw two owls, a Harris Hawk, a Peregrine Falcon, and a Bald Eagle. John's highlight: Four of the birds pooped during the 90-minute presentation.

Steamboat Springs

Gael's family hosted us at a family condo in Steamboat Springs over Labor Day weekend. It was so much fun! On Saturday we went to the air show at the local airport and came home with our very own rockets.

Our first stop was at Ace Hardware for popcorn and suckers!
(Gael's grandparents own the store)

In the cockpit.
