We are fully stocked on cars and trucks!

The last three are a series of three photos of John opening up a present that turns out to be clothes! We need to work on tact.

Cake

We had a little gathering over the weekend for John's birthday. His cake choice: Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough Cake. He helped with the chocolate chips on top!

John loves singing happy birthday and had to sing along even for himself.

John:
1. What's the best part about being four? Getting presents!?
2. Who is your favorite superhero? Ummm...Superman.
3. What is your favorite math, language, or culture work at school? I like to do my map. 
4. What is your favorite book recently? I Lost My Hat. 
5. If it snowed so much that school was canceled, what would you do for your snow day? Stay home and eat breakfast and...I would like to make a snowman and I like movies and to play.
6. What is your favorite errand to go on with Dad? Ummm...ummm...I like to go to playgrounds [editor's note: not an errand!]
7. Where are we going for your birthday dinner? To Culver's!
8. What does Mom think about you turning four? She's going to cry for real. 


Tess:
1. What's the best part about being in kindergarten? Having fun.
2. Who is your favorite superhero? Hmmm...Super...Super...Supergirl.
3. What do you like more, fiction or nonfiction? What books have you been enjoying recently? Fiction - Ivy and Bean.
4. What is your favorite errand to go on with Dad? Hmmm...Central Library [editor's note: not an errand!]
5. If it snowed so much that school was canceled, what would you do for your snow day? Go sledding, have hot cocoa, make a snowman, and snow angels. That's what you can mostly do on a snowy day if you're outside. 
7. Where are you hoping that John picks for his birthday dinner? Culver's!

Stock Show

Frosty

The snow was too sticky for sledding this past weekend, but we still suited up for some fun!

John really wanted to have a carrot coming out of the back of the head just like Olaf in Frozen.

Movie nap

Grandma Linda took us to the Imax film over break last week. It had been a busy day by the time we got to the 4:00 pm show and John only lasted for about half of it. He said he really enjoyed it, though!

Seattle 1

We flew to Seattle for Christmas! We landed, met Grandma and Grandpa, and drove straight to Brian and Allison's weekend cabin on the Hood Canal. It was amazing!
