Love Day

Tess' classroom Valentine's celebration was postponed since Ms. Nancy wasn't sure what was going to happen with the teacher strike. So instead of a Valentine's Day celebration on the 14th, they did Love Day on the 22nd!

Dog Show

We weren't sure if we were breaking any rules, so John hopped up on the platform very quickly to pose as a champion dog!

Buffs' Post Game

One way to avoid sitting in traffic on the way home from the Buffs' game is to hang out for the post-game interviews!

Listening to the player of the game. Tess was glad to see that it was Lucas. 

Then the coach came out for his turn. He was in a good mood since they won!

History Colorado Center

Having some fun with the 3-D paintings at History Colorado recently. They look a little strange (big warped murals) until the camera person stands in a specific location to snap the photo.

Before school activities

Supporting our teachers before school!

Tess' favorite part: Seeing all of her favorite teachers.

John's favorite part: The fire fighters that drove down the quiet residential street with siren and horn blaring in support of the teachers. And the doughnuts.

Valentine's

These three stayed at the Valentine's-making table well past the time everyone else had moved on!

Dancing in (or on) the back seat

This is hard to demonstrate in still pictures, but to give some context: We were rocking out to some Nathaniel Rateliff (Need Never Get Old) on the way to the grocery store on Saturday and the song wasn't done. We asked Dad if we could stay in the car to listen to the end. Dad agreed and unbuckled John from his car seat so he could move around a bit. Chaos ensued.

Home Depot

Monthly trip over to Home Depot. Dad wasn't going to take pictures until John said, "Dad, you should take a picture of this."
