It takes a little while to get into my boots, snow pants, coat, neck warmer, hat, mittens, and finally the harness, but I love this mode of wintertime transportation...

Crash

We went up to Boulder to watch the Buffs' basketball game on Sunday. The game lasted until about 2:00 pm (which is an hour past my normal nap time). I was wired when we got back to the car.

And then the car started moving...

Badgers

The Badgers played their bowl game at a convenient time this year. That meant I could watch most of it before nap time. Keillor takes his naps before me, though.

Bugs

I had one more day off of school yesterday and Dad stayed home with me. Brady and Landon were also home so the four of us took a field trip to the Butterfly Pavilion (we had a free pass!).

Christmas morning: Part 2

A large wrapped present sat in our kitchen for most of the morning on Christmas morning. I was scared of it. But Cousin Cindi was over for Christmas brunch and she helped me work up the courage to open it. And I was glad.

Texting Grandma the next morning telling her the tea is ready.

Christmas morning: Part 1

Like last year, this year's present opening lasted throughout Christmas day. I don't quite understand the concept of opening everything and then playing. I'd rather open one, play with it, then repeat. Also, there was a gigantic present in the kitchen that I was scared to open until later in the day!

 Santa ate the cookies and the reindeer were not very tidy with their orange peels!
