Crafts with Grandma during spring break!

Lost tooth

John went to great lengths to be like his big sister.

Step 1: Wipe out on the front steps and bend two teeth backward. One tooth grew back into place, but the other couldn't be saved

Step 2: Have tooth extracted.

Step 3: Tooth fairy!

Before the dentist. 

 TV on the ceiling. This was his face the entire time. The dentist was amazed at his demeanor.

Picnic lunch at a brewery near downtown!

Picnic lunch and games at a new brewery near our house to celebrate St. Patrick's Day on Sunday.

Last Buffs' home game

Chris and Leanne have sat in front of us at the Buffs' games for years, but they happened to be in Hawaii for the last game of the season on Saturday. So they gave us their tickets so all four of us could go to a weekend afternoon game!

Although only one child was adventurous enough to walk over to Chip for a photo...

6. What is your least favorite food? I like pizza!
7. What sport do you want to play this spring or summer? Baseball!


Tess:
1. What is your favorite toy? Ummm...it's hard to choose...ok, ok, ok...[silence]...I'm just going to say puzzles even though I don't play with them a lot.
2. Who is your best friend? Layla 1 (there are two in class)
3. What annoys you? When Johnny gets into my toys.
4. If you had to pick a new name for yourself, what would it be? Shelby.
5. If you could ask Keillor a question, what would it be? Why are you a dog?
6. What is your least favorite food? Cucumbers.
7. What sport do you want to play this spring or summer? Can I do a winter one? Volleyball.

After these questions, they both wanted to make up their own. So here's your first edition of kid-created questions:
1. What is your favorite dessert? John - Lemon Creme cookies; Tess - Lemon Creme Oreos
2. If you could change yourself into pet, what would you be? John - not a cat, not a dog...a cat. Tess - a mouse.
3. What are you going to be for Halloween? John - a witch; Tess - same as last year - a bunny. It still fits me.
