I was super excited to sleep in the tent!
Both John and I fell right to sleep at bed time. I slept throughout the night, but John was a different story. At about midnight he woke up and basically stayed up the rest of the night. At home, Mom and Dad would just let him cry, but they figured that's a little inconsiderate when you're in a tent in a crowded campground!
At 5:30 am, Dad made the decision that it was better to just head home. We were packed up and ready to go by 6:45 and home by 8:30. It was a short trip, but we all really enjoyed it!
