We waited until just before bedtime for monthly pictures. These two are the best you'll get from two kids that were not in the mood for photos!
Dad likes to tell us that we're growing up too fast.
Since I've started at Centennial, Mom and Dad have noticed that I like to sing out loud a bit more and that I don't mind using some of the Spanish I've learned. My teachers told Mom and Dad that I am a very good student and I am always willing to try new things. Trying new things has not extended to my lunches, however. Every morning, Dad makes me a sandwich (either ham or salami) and apple slices. He occasionally sneaks an orange in there, but I rarely eat it! There was a week or two in which I liked a hard boiled egg, but that phase has passed.
Along with swim lessons, I'm also doing art class at the rec center on Thursdays. Grandma collects me from school and we head right over there. Then I stay for swim lessons right after art. It makes for a busy evening!
Both John and I are in our tumbling classes again on Saturday mornings, as well. This is the last time that he and I can be in the same class level. Next session, I'll get bumped up to the five year old group.
John is doing a great job at toilet training over the past month. He absolutely loves wearing underwear, but just needs a reminder to visit the bathroom occasionally. And his teachers at school are talk about him transitioning to the Primary classroom in the coming months (that's the 3 to 5 year old room).
