Stock Show

Mom went to yoga on Sunday so Dad and I took a trip over to the annual National Western Stock Show. It's a 3-week long event here in Denver that features farmers and ranchers from all over the country.

We might head back later in the month for a rodeo, but on Sunday we got to see nearly everything on the grounds and barns.

This first picture is a little blurry because it was a bumpy ride, but the day started off with my first ever bus ride from the parking lot:

It may not be reflected on my expression, but I loved it!

Watch your step in the barns!

Snack time while watching one of the steer shows.

Those steers you see in the background are only 15 months old. The heaviest one was 1500 pounds!

 Chickens and geese.

Watching the baby animals in the petting zoo area.
I didn't pet any, but waved and said, "Hello" to most of them.

Along with the bus ride from the parking lot, this egg conveyor was my favorite.
I would have stayed here all day if it was up to me!
