We woke up last Saturday morning and hit the road to go on our first family camping trip! We went for one night and it was only about 90 minutes away from home so it was a perfect trial. The Davies and Winter families had arrived on Friday night so the 13 of us shared two sites.
Camp was set-up fairly quickly and it was time for relaxation!
I thought the tent was too hot to nap Saturday afternoon so after about 30 minutes of trying to sleep I was allowed to get up. I spent some time with Dad and my friend, Ainsley, and then decided to lay down on our big blanket. And that's where I stayed for nearly 2 hours.
Mom and Dad got creative with the lawn chairs to keep me relatively shaded.
This kid napped in the tent just fine.
And he also loved dining outdoors!
