Summer break - day 1

We're on school break this week, so we're having fun around town!

Our first adventure on Monday was the Buffalo Bill Museum and Grave outside Golden (very near where Mom and Dad had their wedding reception to give you out-of-towners a frame of reference).

I thought it was cool that this tree was growing right in the middle of the path!

After naps, I requested painting. John joined in, as well. 

We were all impressed that it took John over 30 minutes to finally taste the paint. He quickly learned that it tasted very similar to vanilla pudding (which it was).
